Pathfinder Endeavours
Professional Positions for Agrologist, Archaeologist, Biologist, Foresters are primarily field based, however some office duties will be involved.
Preference will be given to candidates who are Certified as one of the above (PAg, RPBio, BIT, etc) with proven field experience. Other assigned duties may include vegetation inventories, species-at-risk assessments, riparian assessments, silviculture surveying, GPS traversing, and other related field duties.
Assets for this position include:
BC Accredited Silviculture Surveyor
Or a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a related field
Able to work with others in a team environment and independently
Being physically fit
Enjoy working outdoors
Valid Class 5 Driving Licence and Safe Driving Record
Valid Level 1 First Aid and WHMIS Certificates
Professional level skills in problem solving, decision making and organizational abilities
Have strong computer and associated software skills
Demonstrate good communication and technical writing skills
.Field Technician
Preference will be given to candidates who are presently registered or eligible for registration with a professional association.
Assets for this position include:
Knowledge regarding current BC Forest Legislation, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines
Able to work with others in a team environment
Physically fit and able to preform duties in a variety of weather and terrain conditions
Valid Class 5 Driving Licence and Safe Driving Record
Valid Level 1 First Aid and WHMIS Certificates
Professional level skills in problem solving, decision making and organizational abilities
Have strong computer and associated software skills (GIS)
Demonstrate good communication and technical writing skills
Able to work in a team atmosphere and when required independently

Herbicide Applicator
Positions are primarily field based, with the position available from May to October. The positions will be mostly field work on 10 day shifts.
Preference will be given to candidates with valid herbicide application certifications with training available. Other assigned duties may include riparian assessments, collection and interpretation of invasive species population data, site plan data collection, GPS traversing, independent field data collection, and other related field duties.
Assets for this position include:
· - A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a related field
· - Able to work with others in a team environment and independently
· - Being physically fit
· - Enjoy working outdoors
· - Ability to travel or work extended hours when necessary
· - Valid Class 5 Driving Licence and Safe Driving Record
· - Valid Level 1 First Aid and WHMIS Certificates

Mapping Technician
Preference will be given to candidates with recent GIS certification and training. Other assigned duties may include site monitoring and reporting, riparian assessments, site plan data collection, GPS traversing, and other associated field duties.
